whats up yet another dumb question lol
i have a d16z6 with 54,000 i swaped in to my 93 coupe it runs strong now i have t3 .42/.48 needs a rebuild, can get a t 25 no shaft play at all or a 14b which i would have to buy what would be the best turbo to run on that motor and why

alot of people seem to like the t3 super 60 60/63 because it spools fairly early, but it still holds up very well on the top end. a t25, ihi, or like a 14b will also work, but wont have any pull up in the rpm's but will spool wrather quickly. its basicly about prefrence

 

I'd get a T88.

both t25 or 14b woudl work well. Ud still have topend, but not as much as a bigger turbo. Dont confuse it with "no topend" as some ppl put it. This makes it seem like the car stops pulling after 6k rpm.

The 14b is bigger then the t25

 

t3 48/60 seems to be the best d series stock internal turbo

 

If your a baller you can never go wrong with a T3/T4

 

you dont have to be a baller to go t3/t4...

ballers go ball bearing.
