WHAT TURBO!!
ok ok i no i am a new guy. but i do have a question and please don't yell at me to much if it has been gone over. I got a 1990 civic hatch. i have a 92 B16 integra motor in the car right now. i want to pull it back out and do a total forged bottom end. then i want to drop it back in and turbo it. now i want to use a ball bearing turbo im just not sure what one will get me where i want to be. i want to run about 10-12psi at about 300hp reliable power. now i know how turbos work and everthing but i don't know what specs i need. T3/T4 will that get me there?
92 integra XSI with a B16A. man you guys can't even help me out. im not asking a geraral easy to find question here. i was taking a look at the turbo projects, and looking at the turboed B16 CRX. i was woundering what that thing was running. cuz it is about the same set up that i am gona be doin.... but i want to add eagle rods.
ok that is what i thought. but i was talking to someone else and he said that it wouldn't get me close to 300. i no that with forged internals its not a problem to get 10-12 psi in there. the guy i was talkin to said that i should use a big turbo but run low boost. i just wanted to run a relitivly small turbo that would spool fast. what do you guys think??
if you are going to build that shiet up dont use the 14b or the straight t3. Since you are spending a grip use a good and expensive turbo. Might wanna check out the Precision SC34 to SC61 or even the GT35BB's or higher
do you think that is needed. i want to build the motor and run low boost leavles. i want to build it but not blow it. you think that that is to big. well i guess you do have a point. you can always take away boost but you can't make more with a sertain turbo. so i guess more is better.
