Default Easiest / Best way to deal with PCV when going turbo...

I am wondering what you guys do for the hole on the valve cover of your d series when going turbo. From what I understand, I can use a catch can setup, or just use a breather filter, or route a line from the valve cover to the intake pre-turbo (this is what I think I'll be doing).

Ups & downs, pros & cons?

My first priority is what's practical (works best & makes most sense) followed by cost, ease, etc...

BTW I'm really into doing whatever I can myself so please save the pre-made / expensive suggestions. This is hmt right?

Thanks

the link is to a website that shows you how to rout the pcv
system for a turbo. i made the catch can above with 2"pvc tube which is actually 2 1/2" diameter, and some Ts',jb weld and some clear refrigerator water line for the sight tube. i painted it flat black before mounting it. i hollowed out the pcv valve and connected a rubber hose from the pcv to the catch can. and another hose from the top of the can to the intake pipe after the air intake filter and before the turbo. just drill a hole on the intake pipe and jb weld a 5/16" barb on it. the site in the link will explain it.

catch cans are gay, get something that will actually help your motor run better not just clutter your engine bay:

do you think it'll get too messy if the pcv valve would be left without a catch can or commected to the manifold? cause those things from moroso don't offer any vacuume to suck the vapors outta the crankcase.
that thing in the link says it has a weld in nipple for manifold collector? wtf is that? does it go welded to the manifold or exhaust?

Your exhaust creates a vaccum. This device acts kinda like a manometer. And it doesn't get messy at all since it all goes out your exhaust.

ok so could i just leave the pcv valve alone in the intake manifold with nothing connected to it?
^^without installing the item in the link.
does the item in the link you posted require welding it to the exhaust?

It would be the same as the way you setup your catch can but now instead of running a hose to the catch can, you run it to the fitting welded on exhaust.
