Just thought I'd post some pics of a turbo Saturn I did the fab on a few years back. My Civic will be MUCH nicer.

Car also had an SDS extra injector controller and I made a secondary fuel rail and installed 4 extra injectors in the bottom of the intake mani. THe mani is really ugly due to the fact that the owner cut all the pieces for the mani and made them too short so I had to put in little 1/8" sleeve to make it fit properly. I'm not too proud of that one.
Car was very fast but the owner blew it up shortly after when running from the police I didn't associate much with the owner after that, it's too bad, it was my first try at a turbo setup, I can't wait to finish my Civic.

backpurged? can you explain? not familiar with that. maybe its just the wordage.

 

Purge welding is when the inside of the stainless tubing is filled with Argon gas. If it is not, the inside of the weld oxidizes and leaves large bumps I call sugar because it resembles crystalized sugar. It is very ugly and impedes flow. It is how Stainless HAS to be welded. I see many SS parts that are not purged and it is not pretty.
