I got a chance to drive the car today and it sounded awsome since i shitcanned the cat,but right when the boost guage starts to read boost (around 5k) the rpms flutter down.the a/f guage is nailed rich. anyone else ever had this problem? i have the ignition timing backed off 2 degrees.i saw that jeffsciv23 is haveing a similiar prob but i have fuel management.

you start to see boost at 5k? with a 60./.63 on a b18? wha? that sounds a little late. but maybe you arent getting enough fuel. i have a walbro intake and it doesnt hit the bottom of my tank, when i get low on gas, it cant pump out enough fuel so when i hit boost it just falls on its face and doesnt boost, maybe your settings on the afc are not giving you enough fuel for boost? just a possiblility

I sit at 21 vacuum at idle, and when i *ease into the throttle it reaches 0 on the guage around 4-5k then it bogs out.I have new internals thats why i dont want to punch it.but being low on gas is posible. i have a venom fuel pump but i reinstalled the pickup on it, but i have been known to have to reinstall it (lost the clip), but if that was true then would'nt it do that (bog down) in any rpm?I have my afc settings exactly like in the FAQ, and i also have a fpr and i forgot to check to see where its set at since the turbo install.Hmm i have read on here about peeps getting bad or cloged injectors.Would that throw the same symptoms? Also i have the vac hose from the wg hooked into the factory spot on the compressor.

ahhh ----, i think i know the prob. i gapped the hell outta my plugs because i origanally had a 6btm installed and i knew it would be able to handle the gap,but i coudnt get the ****** to werk (6btm 5462-got directions?) and i never regapped them.plus my timing is delayed 2 degrees.
