how do you turn the turbo

i have a rhb5 turbo off a suburu. the inlet faces the block kind of close how can i turn tis to face another direction

downward to run piping

The bolts/snap rings etc are right in front of you, just start taking it apart.

remove all those 8mm bolts (intake side) and 'tap' it with a RUBBER mallet. then set it where you want it and put the bolts back in.

think the exhaust are 12mm bolts, but you will want to spray it with some PB Blaster and let it soak for a while then tap it with a hammer...

oh and good luck trying to get the wastegate back on and lined up...

how hard is it to get the wastegate lined up and back on?? or would it be better just to build a adpter plate that kicks the turbo out at a 45 degree angle
