Default greddy ex turbo kit on d15 mo0tor?

i know the kit is made for the d16 but would it work iwth the lx motor, i know it would bolt on but i just dont know how the rods and such would hold up...would it be worth it to try, or would it be too risky

The D15 has thinner rods than the D16, but several people have boosted them with no problems, including me. Boost away.

you boosted a d15? how did it hold up, i have 30k on mine and just replaced the headgasket , water pump and timing belt, if i went with the greedy kit would i have anything to worry about?would the set boost on the turbo be fine\?

plus my radiator fan is going to be on a switch but as long as i turn it on that shouldnt be an issue right?

Nothing more to worry about more than any other Honda. Smaller rods and bearings are the only issue. Just don't get crazy and run 15psi on it.

it will handle more than you think with the proper tuning, just dont skimp out on that. i know a guy who boosted a stock d15 and made 195whp. good luck

thanks guys, i would have the same shop tune it, and one of them built his own b18 turbo so he knows what he is doing, as far as management it does come with e-manage, although i havent heard great thing about it,it seems to do the job, thanks alot guys, i appreciate all of the responses, how much psi do you think i should stick with i heard it boosts roughly 7 is that safe?

Yeah, it'll work. Safely? Tuning is key and the E-manage offers limited tuning ability. With a good tune you could safely push 10-12psi daily.
