Default popups!!!! fixed

fixed it. I used a program called "hijackthis" and it showed me what was running. Turned out to be some medload.exe. All fixed now.

Ture and if you can't figure out which one it is you can post the log file on their site and someone will help you out.

I had some sneaky spyware ----. It would prevent adaware and spybot from DLing their updates. I had to uninstall and reinstall to get them to receive updates.

Ack! I've got the same problem even when i re-installed. Neither programs can find it but it also wont let me set my start up page other than the default blank one. Looks like I'm gonna have to try hijackthis.
