Just wondering before I use a sponser(toolowsol) of HT's.

lol, there's a difference between 'socketing' which is what you get from them, and chipping with a basemap. i'll 'socket' an ecu for 45 bucks, so i guess my prices are better than theres

 

if you read he mentions he will burn you a chip also

i'm sure it costs extra for him to program a chip and the cost of the actual chip, plus you have to know how to make a basemap to send him. people aren't only paying for parts when they get there ecu chipped, they're paying mostly for the 'know how'. i paid 100 bucks to have my ecu chipped with a basemap before i knew, and i was more than glad to b/c i had no idea what it consisted of nor did i have a chip burner, experience with the programs, expereince soldering, etc. if you think it's expensive, get a quote from them how much it will be for them to make you a basemap and burn it to a chip also, i guarantee, if they'll even make a basemap for you, it will be just as much, if not more than my prices. here is what every ecu that i chip gets socketed with....

once again, that's not installed in your ecu, but yes, i can sell you the parts for 25 shipped, that's 3 dollars less than them.
