Default White smoke

So, here's the deal. Not my car, it's a friends car, but I can't figure out what the hell is wrong.

He's got a 91 probe GT, but it was rebuilt with the ls block, which has a different length nipple that the oil filter threads onto. Anyways, right after the first start up, he was driving it, and all of a sudden the oil pressure went down, and he shut it off right away.

We got everything figured out, but now his car is blowing white smoke as hell. I know oil is usually blue smoke, so wha tthe hell could have happened? Something relating to the engine? or turbo? Any thoughts would be great.

Your friend put an ls block in a probe? There was problems with something but you fixed them. Now the car is blowing white smoke.

Basically you said the car is blowing white smoke.

sounds like a head gasket, check your coolant and see if it looks milky

yeah. the thing is, we haven't even boosted or driven it hard at all. I wouldn't think it would be a head gasket.

It all started when his oil filter popped off, thats why we think it's the turbo.

What does it smell like? have you pulled the spark plugs? how is the coolant level?
