just got back from woodburn on the first run a charge pipe blew off. on the second run the car jumped about a foot and had no power to the wheels both axles broke heres the drivers side





never seen a axle break like that kinda wierd

LOL I dont think stock Honda axles were designed for a full race car , they did work for a while. So what are all the big plans for next year?

That sucks you couldn't get at least a few runs in. Jeff called me as you were leaving because he was wondering if I was down there today, I figured since it rained all weekend it would be raining today, but I guess not. I have been checking the weather everyday this week too and it said rain.

I ended up driving home from portland and back to woodburn, I got there a little before 3pm and since they normally close around 5pm I thought I could get a few runs in, but everybody was packed up and gone.

 

Nice break Beau... LoL. Are you pre-loading the transmission on the line? How about slipping the clutch on the leave? or are you basically just pulling up to the line and letting up off the clutch fast?

where you live, is it year round racing or is the race season about to fall off...

 

i know i should be holding the car withthe e brake and preloading the the clutch be i am getting better 60's just dumping the clutch
