Yeah, I tried to line up a clutch from a 90+ tranny and it didn't quite line up. That's when I realized some ------- swapped an 88 tranny in my 89 Si. So now I'm on the hunt for an 89+ cable tranny.

You can't ship that tranny? Any problems with it? No grinds? No busted ---- inside it? No gobs of silicone on the outside of it? No missing parts?

nope in perfect condition, i would prefer not to ship it sorry. I might just hide it somewhere here at my apt yeah theres a way to check the year of the tranny right? on the shaft there are markings or grooves: no lines/grooves=88, one line 89 and two lines 90+..someone correct me if im wrong.

 

I would just count the splines on the shaft. 21 Splines is the gay *** bastard 88 tranny(the one I got fucked with)and 20 spline is the 89+.
