gonna get my turbo in soon, but i need a half rad to clear the turbo

does anyone have any pics of half rads in thier crx or ef's ??

please post where the rad came from and how the fitment is, thanx in advance

 

no pics, but I have a 92-95 Del sol radiator in my 89 hatch. It fits fine, just a little trimming from the underside of the hood and a custom bracket to hold the top.

 

EG half rad, trimmed the rad support on bottom and the hood a lil. Gives a ---- load of room though!

anyone try it ??

can you guys briefy discribe how you "trimmed" the lower support, i know you can cut the webbing off the hood to get the clearance, but im unsure as to how i "trim" the lower support

edit: also with the eg rads can you still use the stock crx fan ?? or will i need a an eg fan as well ??

 

i have a full race bar, they include mounts for a half radiator but the radiator still sits to high, i basically tilted it a tad and zip tied to the bar, im using a slim pusher fan that i got a vatozone, and it works really really good.

 

you could put the radiator fan infront of the radiator and reverse the cables to make it a pusher fan.

 

yeah thats how i have it hooked up! in front of the fan, reversed wires, and it blows really well, probably better than stock

so slowpoke you used the eg rad, with the stock crx fan and just placed it infront of the rad and reversed the wires ??

but my radiator actually came from a 00 si but i think they are both the same. the fan was a 12 inch slim fan from vatozone, this weekend i will post some really good pics of my whole setup so you can get a good idea.
