Default What FMU ratio do I need for my setup?

I'm going to run 6.53 PSI (.45 bar Tial) on my stock 95 Integra LS, and I'm not sure what the proper FMU ratio should be. I think mine is a 12:1 Vortech, but I dont fully understand what that means, or if it is what I really need. My 3 month long turbo project comes to and end tomorrow!!!! ( well for now )

hey matey i'd like to know too im gonna be running 4 - 8 PSI. I think its somink to do with the boost in relation to petrol (ratio) but not sure which way round. by the way how do u guys rate vortech ignition units? or do MSD rule the market? is it essential for a turbo setup

yeah 12:1 should be good.

basically it works like this,
the ratio is fuel pressure raised to boost

so a 12:1 will raise the fuel pressure 12psi for every one psi of boost that the FMU sees.
so for 6.53, the FMU will raise fuel pressure 78.36psi

get a walbro fuelpump also,
They go for like 70-100 off ebay.
this stock pump may not be able to keep supply enough to match your needs, even if running low boost, you might as well.. cuz you never know.. you'll probly want to up the boost later.

The Vortech ignition box is actualy an MSD ignition with the Vortech logo on it. MSD makes it for Vortech to go with the supercharger kits. If you look on the Vortech box, you will find the MSD logo.

So do I definately need a fuel pump for 6.5 PSI? I have a MSD inline pump laying around. If so, does it hook up right in the line between the FMU and the FPR?

For 7psi I wouldnt worry about it.. unless you are encountering lean conditions.
