Default Fuel/Spark question for custom set-up

I'm using a custom se-up on my ZC and it looks like I'm gonna have to just use a AFC Hack method until Ghetto dyne breaks into Boost set-ups cause I really don't want to shell out $1,000 for the Zdyne. But here's my question ... I'm very new to F/I set-up and was woundering how do you figure out how much extra fuel and spark I'll need and how do I know what to set the AFC up. I know there's site's with pre-settings for the zdynesystem is there any sites that give you some info. on what other peoples settings are usin the AFC hack method ? Also what would you guys recommend to use to get better spark ? I'm leaning towards the crane cams Hi-6 cause you can get the clutch cut ( launch control )with it. Thanks for any help I can get. I know some of these question might sound dumb to those experienced in F/I set-ups but I'd rather look dumb and get a anwser then not ask questions and blow my motor. But thanks again for any help I can get. -Jason-

Each setup is so different, Drop shops afc settings and so&so's settings may not work well with your car, but they are good baselines just to get your car running. If you want it to run "perfect" and be tuned correctly, their is only one way... that is dynoing with a wideband o2 sensor. Call around to local performance shops to get some prices, shouldnt take more than 2 hours.

If you wanna go half ***, get a cheapy air/fuel gauge, and just start playing with your AFC, and use your "*** dyno" to see if things are improving.
