everytime I see stuff like that it makes me want to re-enlist to be a pilot. (which I have already been medically screened for, and passed)

to be a pilot or not to be a pilot....
to live 16 more years in the military or not....

 

Get your pilots license and buy one for pleasure. And don't work in the military no mo :P

and do you know what it takes to be a military pilot. at least a Marine pilot:

1. become a officer, which requires a degree

2. go to swim school, which is pure hell. i am a swim l 2, 4 being the mininum, 1 being the best, i dont wanna know what 1 is like.

3. POW school. where for 6 weeks you are treated as a POW for 18-22 hours a day. (daily beatings, no food, you try to escape, etc. etc)

4. Jump wings. this is accually a bad *** course. and the Marine take the army coarse but do it in extreme detail once the person has graduated basic jump school.

5. then you go onto the 18 month flight school. http://avsafety.nps.navy.mil/

to go from enlisted to officer and have a flight status, it takes about 3 years.

if you go "garantee flight status" on a contract and you ---- yourself in any of the schools, get injured or something like that, and your out longer than 6 weeks, your done.

(or you will be offered whatever they are in need of at the time- open contract)
