i was just wondering if anyone has used a ihi turbo out of a 87-88 tbird turbo coupe? i got one real cheap. and am gathering the parts to install it. just wanted to see if anyone has any sugestions? its on a 92 civic cx w/d16z6 and am buying one of tyrus's intercooler and a buddy is gonna make me a manifold.

What are the specs on it? A/R's? those are great turbos... a bit big for your engine, but who cares, should work fine.. a little lag doesnt hurt anyone.

I've been told you can use this turbo and a IHI RHB5 from a mazda to make a hybrid kinda like a T3/T4 turbo, using the exhaust side of the mazda turbo, and compressor side of th t-bird, less lag+more power.
