The NHL season was set to begin Wednesday. Obviously there is not going to be a season. My friend has season tickets to the wild, and we talked to an usher and they didn't even tell them to report to work til Jan. and that was just for an update and a possibility of working.

Does anyone on here follow hockey??

I am a Die hard Wings fan. I love the home-town wild, but I grew up a wings fan.

At least MN ownes college hockey. 2 of the top national teams and I have free tickets to both. I go to the UofM, and friends go to St. Cloud Stat, so plenty of good hockey here.

I wish I lived in canada, their junior leagues are like NHL Lite.

 

We have an AHL team here and we always have gone to the games so its not really that different for us.

 

AHL and IHL just isn't the same. We had the Moose for a while here, but they sucked compared to REAL hockey. Man I already miss it so much.

 

living 20 min from Toronto Canada makes me a natural Toronto Maple laughs fan.

yea, it really sucks. once baseballs ends what am i gonna do, watch the celtics? basketball isnt my thing. i played hockey since i was 3, and im not a fan of this ----. stop being pussies and play.

 

I'm gonna miss hockey this year too. I'm a Kings fan of course.
Someone said that the lakes actually freeze here so I could skate them when I get some skates. lol. I sold most of my roller hockey stuff, but I still have some sticks to ---- around with.
