my car will just die while im moving and then itll just kick back on and be normall.. sometimes i have to remove the dis. cap then itll start up.. New: cap rotar coil and wires... any advice

 

try new distrib car, rotor, wires and plugs, if all else fails, it might be yer internal coils, also check fuses, and if thats not it, u might ne a new ditributor

 

go out to your car, start it up, floor the gas and hold it there. then fix the problems.
















on the subject, i say tune it up and then go from there.
on another note, this goes in the hybrid section.

 

if he replaces the coil, the car and the rotor, why would you get a new dizzy. just replace the ICM and be done with it...right?

 

1 the coil is external the cap is masd also and it is a hybrid.. ZC/mi-me.. ICM

1990 si dizzy with 90 si ecu

 

check engine light on?

 

no lights but when it dies and will not start ill take off the dist. cap and it will run fine until it happens again..

 

you have an aftermarket ignition box?

sounds like you do..

anyways.. sounds like you have a loose wire near the dist, check around.
