I got a rebuild kit for my T3 and the exhaust wheel is a different style than what came in my T3. On my stock wheel the fins are bent over almost flat at the top, and the new one's fins are just ever so slightly bent over at the top. The new one still fits in the housing and everything just fine, I was just wondering how the differently bent fins will affect performance, or if one spools quicker and what not etc. etc.... Let me know what you think. Also the fins arent as tall on the new peice as they are on the old one. It looks as though the tops of the fins were cut off. The new one is also a slight cone shape towards the center if you look at if from the side, where the old one is flat across the top.

 

What did you get your turbo off of? What did you order a rebuild kit for? Not all T3s are the same, it may be a different trim, all the turbines will interchange but there are diferences in A/R ratings and trim numbers.What will this do to your spool time? I dont know, give me all the info, original application, rebuild kit application, motor size you are going to use it on and I can guess, but thats all it will be a guess.
