question on gsr crx swap..

Default question on gsr crx swap..

hey whats up guys, i've got my hands on an obd1 gsr long block, i have a b16 cable tranny and an obd0 pr3 ecu. i need help on putting this all together.. what would i need to convert the gsr to an obd-0 and would i have any hood clearance problems? if anybody would help me out on this it would be appreciated, thanks.

injectors and dizzy i believe... hood clearance should be fine... post some pics of the install

what about the intake manifold?the sensors will be in other spots and you will have to make longer connections.and the gsr has that dual runner manifold thing.

i had a b16 sir2 in my crx and all u need is a cable tranny pwo or pr3 or chipped obd0 ecu stock crx engine harness. a obd0 dizzy obd0 injectors and i beleive a obd0 throttle body.. i can't remember if i switched the torttle bodys or not but i think u might have to

and of course mounts & shiftlinkage

haha, its a bunch of ----, it will clear, but barely.. itll rub a bit... ull need a gsr throttle cable, a gsr throttle body.. It kind of hits the little support on the fuel filter.. so u might need to chop that... i say u keep it obd0 and just chip a b16 ecu

i think the cost of the obd-0 ecu and obd-dist out weighs the cost of a 94-95 gsr ecu and a conversion harness.

i've seen that prelude vtec 92-96 injectors were 310cc and were peak and hold but they're obd1. these would fit right in without any wiring changes right? even though they're obd1, but since they're the same type of injectors( peak and hold )... not sure on this. i'll post some pics whenever i get the install finished... school's a bitch, so not sure when thats gonna happen. thanks for the input so far tho.
