So i decide to fire up the starion today seeing how its been sitting with a dead battery for about a month now. I run it for about 10 minutes to try to get the battery to charge and the damn thing wont get a charge. So i say ---- it and decide to drive it around the block then park it. Im having a good time hitting boost and hauling some ***, i go yo bust a u turn but say ---- it and do a donut and im loving it. Now i head home and i get to the last corner be4 my street and the car dies. Im pissed the damn battery dont work and me and my cousin get out and start to push. We get it going about a car lenght and i slip in a puddle of and slam my knee into the ground. At this point i look back and i see a trail of oil. I push it outta the way and i see the oil dipstick is popped off and there is oil everywhere. Now i have to pull the head off tomorrow


EDIT: 120 125 110 130 .... now im stumped

 

why do you have to pull the head off? just put tape on the dipstick to keep it in.

Kinda. Ill pull the head sometime this week and see how it runs after that. If its not the headgasket im going to say ---- it

If the car is dying, dont think its a dead battery, the engine doesnt run off the battery it runs off the alternator. And before you rip the head off, I'd be looking into a bit deeper diagnoses then "hey my dipstick fell out, lets rip the head off"

 

exactly, just put tape on the dipstick. hopefully my motor doesn't blow completely when I get the turbo on, and I get enough blow by that my dipstick will pop out and I can put a piece of tape on it.

 

im about 95% sure its the headgasket, i will do a compression test befor i rip it apart

 

i hope its nothing wrong. wouldnt it be time to get a jet valve less head aswell?

 

if this is the stock head on the car it would be amazing, i dont think ive heard of one making it to 160k
