Default my new project! (pics!)

well as some my know i have been searching for a new project, and no not another Honda...

anyway here it is:

how she looked when i picked it up... :?

my dubz

my ABA (2.0L 8v from 94 Jetta)

my 9A....but Aaron is trying to talk me into a 02A

reason i might be needing an 02A  T3/T4 60/63

its a 91 VW Golf GTI (began life as an 8v) "Montana Green"....still needs lots of stuff. i have a MegaSquirt on the way, also have some 10.1" front brakes, rear disc brakes...also negotiating for some teardrops to put on her cuz the 10.1's arent gonna clear those awsome Rabbit wheels as you can see lots of plans...i will be sure to keep it everyone updated....

well not sure, story i heard was something like the car blew the motor ~8years ago and has been sitting, and people started taking ---- off of it, or parting it out, whatever. lots of ---- was included with the car, he filled it with the parts that came with it when he bought it (guy i bought it from changed his mind and bought another Rabbit) and threw in a bunch of ---- he had left over from another Golf he owned in the past...

well so far i have pulled a motor from a 94 Jetta (the one pictured) wasnt too hard, easier than the last Honda one i pulled at the junkyard. and that tranny...that was a bitch, you unbolt the ------ thing and it slides right out right? ---- no the axle housing hits the crossmember/LCA mount! that was homo, had to fight with it at the right angle to get it to slide out. my roommate said its usually easier to pull the motor out (the whole front end comes off as you can see, then the engine slides out wiht the hoist) to do a tranny swap. so im gonna try and get a Corrado G60 (the supercharged one) tranny, its bases off the VR6 tranny or some ---- so its stroger and i wont have to swap them out as often as the 9A above...
