Default New Tranny Problem need help

ok i put the clutch in my cousins teg, i finish everything put the oil back in the tranny and we try to push start it cause the battery is dead and the pass side CV pops out. I took the pass side apart again and the damn thing wont go all the way back in. It comes out like its supposed to but it wont slide all the way in. Is there anything that would stop it from sealling right?

The only way it would pop out is if it's not seated correctly in the first place, if the clip/ring on the end is worn out or (and this is a long shot, but I've seen it), someone sold you the wrong shaft and it's too short (or you switched left and right).

When you put the shaft into the tranny hole, line it up and then "throw" the whole thing in there. Once it's in, it should not come back out unless it's pried out. Don't use anything to bang on the shaft either or you'll damage it. Hope that helps.

take the ring off and see if it will go in all the way, if it does, that just means the ring got stretched out or something, then put the ring back on and shove the mother ****** in there, don't be scared

LOL.
try stretching the clip then before you put it in..
or like it was mentioned, you need to "throw " it in
