hello i have a 94 corolla i would like to know what would be the cheapest way to turbocharge it and well what do i need..... and do i have to fix the engine for that or can i just use what i have .....

 

Thats quite the question you got there. You can turbo charge a kia sophia if you wanted to. If you check the forums you will find a list of things you will need. Do a search.

hey man kia engines are built from the factory for boost i bet a kia engine could take more boost than a d series could

wOOt COROLLAs REPRESENT!!! I have a turbo corolla!!!! Its a 1990, though, but the engines are the same, and mine has been handling 8-9 pounds of boost fine for the last six months!

The cheapest way to turbocharge it is to get a turbo and intercooler from the junkyard, weld up your own manifold and downpipe, and use a votech FMU and fuel pump for fuel management. Mine cost roughly 600-700 dollars to turbocharge.

well like it sais mine is not a kia is a corolla, and i would like to know where do i get the manifold for it i know i have to do the downpipe that is not a problem.... the manifold is

yes turbo corollas are possible...

in japan, i think they have used them as police interceptors...

anyway, a local guy did his 3 spd automatic corolla, 94?...anyways, he ran 14.46 on radials on a -----*** local drag strip...i think he ran 15psi until throwing a rod on stock internals...he had a custom manifold made...

don't know where to get the manifold of flanges, but i thought i could encourage you by saying yes, you can turbo a corolla!

next summer project: turbo trueno!!! wooot 4ag-ze's!
