To start off,I know how to reset the SRS, however, you cannot reset the SRS memry if you do not have an air bag plugged in, so there is a truck that some guys use, they plug in a 2.2ohm or 3 ohm 1/4 watt resistor to the SRS calbe under the steering column, this in turn trucks the SRS computer to think that an airbag is plugged in.

My question is, which terminal does the resistor plug to? there are about 8 or so different sockets in the plug.

Has anyone ever done this before?

I need help, as I got an aftermarket steering wheel and now i have no airbag and the lught bugs me. and no I wont just take the bulb out.

well, i will put my $.02 in and i hate to say this...but alot of autocrossers do the same thing that you are talking about. maybe go to www.honda-tech.com and put this question in there autocross board? im sure they could help you out.

 

Been there and done that, but honestly all theyre saying is how to reset the unit, I know this already, they say that you can trick it with a resistor, I just dont know where the resistor goes, no one made a good write up yet.

Are you just looking to get rid of that lite Most ppl I know have just pulled the bulb or used electrical tape to cover it. No need to get technical, just pull the bulb.

 

I bet it sucks compared to the grand tourismo thats supposed to come out.

anyways guys, anyone else know what to do, I somehow cannot get the stupid problem fixed.
