Default 00 civic injectors into a 90 teg

just a quick stupid question, i shouldn't need inline resistors or a resistor box to put them into a friends car since it should already heve them right? his car is NA but he thinks they are bad so i was gonna try my ones that i took out of the civic.

the 00 civic injectors are saturated and the 90-91 tegs are peak and hold. theoretically, you could take the resistor box out (the opposite of putting peak and hold injectors in a car for saturated), but i'm not positive this would work. you're also gonna have a hard time getting the obd2 injectors to fit on obd0 :P

but wouldn't it just be the opposite of putting DSM's into a car that runs saturated? the resistor box is already there though.....

newer cars run saturated injectors and dsm are peak and hold, that's why we need to install the resistors. the 90 teg already runs peak and hold, so that's why it has the resistors and you don't need to add them, you could put dsm peak and hold injectors in no problem, but the injectors out of a civic are saturated, so you're basically doing the opposite of putting dsm's in, you see what i'm saying?

Bypass the resistor box.

ok .. since you're "resisting" current to the injectors. what voltage to crx injectors actually want? what about 92 civics?
