I was readin about that Venom 400 Performance Module. Is it all its cracked up to be? Sounds a lil too good to be true, and is it worth it? I was thinkin about pickin one up, wanted some feedback before i commit to spending $300 on something that might not be anybetter than an SSAUTOSHIT manifold...

 

It's not worth it. Look into a vtec controller or programs like uberdata

 

Im prolly gonna get an SAFC II instaed, and Im also lookin into gettin hondata once I get boost

 

save your monye on the Venom, SAFC, and Hondata.

buy yourself a nice turbo kit and get uberdata for fuel management. if not then save that money and just donate it to the B16Drag Turbo Foundation for the Mentally Challenged Individual Who Boosted Too Early!

Its called money...those things in the mail are called bills, you need money to pay the bills. Kinda hard to do ---- to your car in a timley manner when workin full time, goin to the university at nite after while paying for classes at that, tuition is HELLA expensive....so um...BACK OFF!

 

i think he's talking about your way of thinking the fact that you're talking about buying an afc and hondata and all that expensive mainstream stuff when you should know about uberdata since you've been on her for 200 posts hell, i wasn't boosted until about 3k posts lol, but my way of thinking about turbo's and set ups changed after about 10 posts. hell, that was back when uberdata cost about 200 bucks just for the software and was still the best bang for the buck, now it's free

 

Well, i'm buyin the AFC this weekend more than likley, if not then by Wed. Sorry, I'm not fimillar with Uberdata, I know about hondata cuz thats what the guys arond here run. I'm tryin to either A. put together an hmt kit, but everytime I start pricing ---- out, i think "I can spend a couple hundered more bux and buy a greddy kit..." The reason Im hesitant is because its my daily driver, I need my car for work, thats what I do, I drive place to place everyday for ----, so I really cant afford for something to go wrong, sorry if I sound too bitchy for some poeple, but if I have no car I cant work...BLAH!

 

wow man, you really should read and learn some more. i have about 1300 total in to my hmt kit including fuel managment. nobody said it was suppose to be easy, you have to learn things to save money. the cheapest greddy kit is like almost 3k i believe with shitty fuel managment. this is on my daily driver also that i drive over 100 miles a day to work. if you want to spend the money instead of learning, go ahead, but you could have a full engine managment system comparable to hondata (uberdata), for less than half the cost of an afc.
