just a fact that black people actually run faster than whites. If you actually look at the calf muscle diagrams of a white person and a colered person, colored people actually have bigger caves through genetics.

 

Also, they have a natural pelvis tuck (I think thats what it is). White people have to learn to do it, blacks have no problem. Also, not to be mean here.. but a local juvenile school was going against us at a track meet last year, I noticed all of the runners were black and fast as hell. I made the point to my friends, "Damn they're fast... and those are the ones who got caught!" :P

 

That has nothing to do with how fast some can run.

Having big calves does not equal being fast. Muscle in general consist of fast twitching and slow twitching muscle fibers. The ratio of the two type of fibers will determine if you're a quick runner--and yes this is more genetically determine than environmentally. For example, Michael Johnson has "HELLA" fast twitching muscle fibers in order to allow him to run sub-10's in the 100ft. But make him run a marathon with the people with higher group of slow-twiching and he'll crook.

Higher fast-twitching -> short distance runners
Higher slow-twitching fibers -> long distance runners

And then there is the general population who chase their food in the drive thru.
