running lean WTF on stock z6
i dont ------ get it, i have a little bullshit short ram intake (pipe and a sock), i changed the fpr, and all cylinders are running lean and the temp guage goes to the middle. the spark plugs are white as bone, and my last ones started getting purplish dots on them (from overheating i think). i dont get why the ---- its doing this. the engine is completely stock besides a flywheel/clutch and my gay intake

did you drop the fuel pressure?
maybe thats why?
also how do you know its running lean? did you check with a wideband? and was it calibrated
also metal specs on your spark plugs is a sign of detonation; thats molten aluminum cooling on the inulsator

Do the basic maintanance...but I bet it could be the fpr...maybe you set it to low...you need a fuel pressure gauge to set it up right.
He's running lean, cause his spark plugs are white...he has detonation..thus the aluminum bubbles on his plugs...and if his car is getting hotter then before ... he is getting higher EGT's
Check the FPR first...is ti adjustable?
