I thought Honda Si anything were only manual transmissions only? I seen a '88 Prelude Si down my street the guy wants 500 bucks for because the power steering is going out and its an automatic, this came to a shock to me cuase i thought all Si any version of Honda were manuals only, i know this goes for the hatch back Si. Weird.

 

I thought so too.. Maybe it was swapped somewhere along the line?

 

I saw a Civic with a GSR swap with an auto in Honda Tuning, and also other GSR's with autos in other mags too, maybe swappin ----? who knows.

 

i think i've seen auto crx si's too I remember looking at one for sale, I think it was an si, i was hyped, then the shifter wasn't a shifter but a t-bone

 

they do come in auto dummies...i never thought there was an auto gsr but there was one in the paper...still not sure if its true havent seen it with my own eyes...the only si that i know of that only came in stick were the 99-00 si...

 

the auto GSR's are a JDM thang they're not offered in the US

 

The older preludes came with auto's, even the si's. I was under the impression that all civics that were si's, no matter what year, were all 5 spd manuals. And the si preludes came with 5 spd as a option? As far as i know, there were not any GSR integras that came from the factory with an auto matic, but there were some special edition integras that came with the b18c engine. And maybe those were available with autos. But the GSR's were not produced with automatic transmitions.

 

i know some guy work next door..sh brought her mom a AUTOMATIC INTEGRA TYPE-R.
i`ve seen it and it is a type R.
he said he have to brag at the Dealer to have it made.
he said they used a LS auto tanny in it.

 

i have never seen nor heard of an auto crx si

 

They have 4dr type r's in rice land
