I always thought they were fast little cars looking at the numbers. I had a guy rev on me in a new Z at a light. I was like, I'm too old for this ----, but what the ----. So I let him jump out and then pulled right by him. I got to the next light and he was keeping it high reved and I could tell him was on the clutch so I waited then hit the full throttle launch and ------- owned him. Maybe he couldn't drive but I was suprised. And no I don't condone or ever street race. We didn't get to high speeds and no cars were around. Anyone know what they run off the top of your head?

Actually, Nissan claims 13.9 @ 102mph for the 350z.

You probably raced an automatic I raced my girlfriends Rsx type S against a 350z auto and beat it pretty bad. Her car only runs like a 14.8 too

 

well 13.9 wa stheir fastest ever time i think. and thats with a pro. most people cant even get past the 14.5 mark in a stock 350.

like i said. with a full exhaust, some tb porting, a new clutch, and a cai, i could keep up with or even spank some 350z's

my wife's uncle got one last year...he let me drive it and it's pretty fast. it only had 1000 miles on it so i didn't beat the sh#t out of it. we jumped in my car and he was like wtf!! "your little honda would give me a run for my money. needless to say he was suprised and impressed at the same time. he's always asking me about any changes on my car everytime i see him and telling all his 50+year old friends about it. kind of cool.
