I just installed some blue top 450cc DSM injectors into my 91 CRX Si. B20B engine. Plugged everything back the way it was, and tried to start it up. No go. Forgot to lean the AFC. After I did that. I tried again, no go. And again, and again... Car will not start! Am I forgetting something stupid? They are plug and play in a 4G, right? Please someone help me out! When you put yours in did it fire right up? HELP!!!!

 

I looked over the how-to at least 7 times. This is in a 4G CRX, that has a resistor box, so there is no wiring, right? I just plug em' in, lean it out, and it should start?

I just checked, No codes. Good idea tho, I had forgotten to check. While I was checking the code I figured, I'll try again, after it sat for a min, and she idled for about 5 sec... closest yet. Blarg! DId anyones just, BAM! start! first try?

 

what are your settings on the safc??

 

The car is in N/A form right now. This should not matter, as the car hasn't even seen idle yet, let alone spool or boost. I tried -35, -40, -50,, I will try putting -20 as soon as I can but I think the battery is taking a ----. Yeah, I've seen the drop shop and this site's writeup on the install. The car just idled for a minute, I think it is just a matter of finding the proper AFC setting. I think everything is hooked up properly.

 

when i had mine n/a and the 450cc injectors i started at -30% at 1000rpms and ended up at -24% at 7500rpms. it ran good. try that. that was with a d16a6, im not sure how it would affect a b20.

 

its more than likly just flooded out.. hold the throttle to the floor, and crank the bitch over..
