Has anybody ever seen a car, or personally have a car w/ a cage/bar kit from S&W? do you have any pics? are the bends mandrel? how close do they fit into the interior of the car?


on another note, does anyone know a company who sells pre made main hoops for cages?

I've got an autopower in my Integra. I do beleive they make main hoops for cages as well but am not sure on that. Mine was a tight *** fit and is about a half inch from the ceiling Talk about a bitch to install.

 

autopower only sells full bars, and I don't like their rear design very much, I need a main hoop tha I can build off of.he trance, do you still have headliner?

 

Yep, but it was starting to cross my mind that I might want to remove it to make the install easier, but I managed to do it with the headliner in. I removed the rear seats, seat belts, and the rear speakers had to be removed for the rear bars to mount. I could relocate them if I wanted but I'm too lazy and don't use the radio anyway :P

Dru, I'm gonna be ordering an S&W here real soon. (Now that the shipping is cheaper) I've read all over that the S&W stuff fits real good and all that. Not a bad word that I can find.

 

I could drive down and pick up an autopower if I wanted to, but I mostly just want a mandrel bent main hoop and then build the rest to my own specs. Most of those cages are set up for drag racers, I am not a drag racer.
