Default rewelding ssautofuckmeinthegoatass

i took my manifold to a friend of mine who works at a fabrication shop and has been welding for a long *** time. he said the welds look like they used crap rod when they welded it and told me to go to the welding supply store and get some "super missle rod". he said that rod will help bond the two differant metals together. has anybody had any problems with it cracking in any other places besides when the stainless meets the steel? i'll have him reweld the braces also. who was it that made the brace that attached to the block?
thanks

Yeah, good luck with that. I too thought it would hold up after re welding and bracing etc., but the metal is seriously too thin and cheap to hold up to the heat, weight, and driving that we put them through. I gave up welding those things and just spent some dough on a quality manifold.
