has anyone ran the 1/4 in thier boosted d15? i will be running 7psi soon on my d15, i was wondering what i would be expecting in the 1/4 mile or what cars i would be keeping up with?

Rings fried causing mass blowby and I am sure extreme loss of power.

I would expect mine to be closer to that with good rings. We'll see how it does in a couple weeks re-ringed and with 20 inch slicks.

 

well i hope to beat my friends 94 gsr, he has a greddy header and full apexi exhaust, its pretty fast. i have ss autochrome mani, turbonetics evolution wastegate, truboxs bov, 30" fmic, and a t3/t4 turbo with soon vortech fmu. so i hope when i get my kit on i will be faster

 

did i mention my friends were on street tires too. shitty ones to be exact. im sure theyd be in the 13s if they had better tires. there trap speeds were pretty high for a 14 sec car

No you won't be any faster, reason being that your turbo can't help you when its laying on the ground because you used an SS autocrap manifold and it broke off while you were driving down the road.

turn that ss autocrap into a lamp or something. PS - With my setup I spank on b16's, gs-r's, and even beat an ITR at the track twice in a row.

 

youll beat the gsr and for god sakes man. be a bmc log manifold. well worth the price
