Anyways, I was coming from this party doing a grog run and we've had this big police blitz going on around here lately...

So Im driving about and saw a cop go by and ofcourse he turns around and jams his lights on. I wasnt speeding, doing anything dangerous, had all my lights on an ----.

So he takes about 5 minutes to get out of his car, looks at my exhaust and comes up to the window. "RBT mate, your exhaust is too loud"

So we go on an on an ----...he doesnt actually RBT me - but Im stoned outta my mind so Im starting to wig out. He asks me to pop my hood [its basically a stock engine cept for the exhaust] and then asks me to put it up for him 'incase he scratches it.' He then procedes to talk to me for about 10 minutes about the oil leaks in my engine. Eventually he RBTs me and sends me on my merry way, laughing my head off because I was so stoned.

Moral to the story is - police suck

I like how you start off the thread with "anyways" that's comedy, it's like we were having a conversation about something else and you want to switch topics, but this is really the original topic of this conversation.

 

Anyways, an RBT is a Random Breath Test - eg. Booze testing.

 

what country are you in? if a cop tells me to pop my hood round here I'll tell him to show me a warrent.

drinking and driving is no good, you shouldn't fear the rbt.

In california they're making it all serious, they can look under your hood. And I've seen them just pull ---- out and throw it on the sidewalk. I was driving down the road and the cop was throwing the intake of this guys car on the street.

 

I've heard of busts at large street races where they gather everyones drivers license, get a big stack of a couple hundred of them, and then throw them behind the trees all over the dark railroad tracks. Then they say, "go find yourself, and don't come back here racing".


That's just a story I heard. Cops are for a good cause, but I'm sure there are a couple of them that need to get tied to a tree and beaten a few times.

 

yeah, cops are around for a reason, but there are always crooked ones, and ones that abuse their power.
