first off i would like to say this is a great forum, very informative and not a lot of bullshit. i've been searching this but couldnt find anything. what is the stock psi set at for the 14b, is it 8psi like the t25? I'm still undecided as to which turbo to go with. will power really drop off with t25 on the d16y7 running about 8 psi, or would i be fine? (im not shooting for insanely high power either)

8psi on the t25 and 14b, i'd go with the 14b, my cousins car is running a t25 right now and yea it spools quick but lacks top end. i think the 14b has twice the CFM the t25's got.

 

is the 14b the same as a TD04?

i am running a tdo5h 14b on my zc, and with the stock eclipse wastegate it boost right at 9 psi. what i want to know is what is the max boost capability of this turbo?

 

I thought most dsm owners upgraded to a 16g

 

ive seen some one turn the MBC the wrong way and with a stock 14b on a 1G DSM it spiked at 18-20 psi but turbo life drops off quick if you spin it faster than its supposed to be spun and its really ineffeciant
