Who knows if the Skunk2 program willgive you any more power. You could install that and then fine tune with the AFC, but it would only make sense to do that and tune on the dyno for optimal performance.

Authentic Skunk2 programs run very rich, and with mad ignition timing. Why? ..because of the radical lobes on the Skunk2 cams.

Yes, I said, cams. Skunk2 specializes in B16 programs. Not SOHC programs, so the amount of air flowing through your D will not equate to that of a lumpy B, with "real" VTEC.

I don't know.. try it, if it doens't work, take out. ..but, I don't think you will yeild much power, if any at all. You should really just have _your_ car tuned.

The SAFC overrides the ECU. My AGEnginering ECU set VTEC at 5100 and a 8500 redline. I can set my VTEC engagment point at 5500 or whatever on my VAFC. Your AFC just moddifies the signals from your ECU, stock or not. Your map/vtec signal runs into and out of your AFC. Hope this helps.

Actually it modifies the signal from the MAP to the ECU. It doesn't "override" the ECU, it just takes the signal from the MAP and ***** it all up and sends it back to the ECU.

Wrong. Everything else was generally accurate, except that. Some wires to the AFC are inputs to the ECU (to make it think it's receiving a signal that it's not), and some are outputs (that are intercepted, changed, and spit back out to where it was going).
