Hooking up Vtec in my friend's DX hatch. Just swapped a B16 in, pics up later, but anyways. Hooked up vtec solenoid to A4 and grounded it too. Hooked up oil pressure to D6. Do we have to hook up knock? That goes to D3 right? And he's throwing a code, we're going to pull it tommorow but what codes would cause vtec not to work? Thanks.

 

i thought when you wired up vtec it was to the A8 or mabe A4 but i have a zdyne 1 wire so maybe it is A4.

 

oh and vtec code is 22 i think for ur year so 1 long blink then 2 short ones.

 

u are using a p30 right? u need to wire up the knock sensor for that ecu. just use shielded wire.
