where did you find your turbo?

where did you find your turbo?

i'm 'bout go to visit the local junkyard to pick up some turbos..however, i would like to know where you guys find yours turbo at? or that's a secret? :P

try oldskool thunderbird(84-87) turbocoupes, 300zx probes, volvo, saabs, etc

i found 1 today at the local j-yard for $40...

I've been looking on Ebay for them. Search for turbocharger or turbochargers. Most people search for turbo and leave it at that. I picked up my 14B for $50 shipped.

I would try ebay. This might be out of the question, but I bought my turbo for $560.00 shipped, brand new. Garret t-3 super 60 with wastegate. Ebay has alot of used turbos for cheap prices.

I found mine under the hood of my friend's fire ridden 92 Talon TSi.. aww.. the beauty of friend's owing you favors.

I bough one of the CHRA's From an ebayer named bambabev i think .. Nice unit.. Balanced and all.. just add your housings and your brand new.. I got mine for $125 tho.
