The writeup states "Injectors seals: Napa sells an injector seal kit that contains seals for Civic's and Integra's. If you don't need the complete seal kit, just go to Acura and buy only the bottom seal, or try to find some taller seals that have the same outside dia."

My question is, is the seal kit pictured 2-12089 the one used in the writeup? or did you acquire new bottom seals? If so which ones were used.

 

mang i`d just grind the oem seals. with dremal(sp:P) or even sand paper will work.

 

I agree with Donald. Just bore out the stock OEM injector seals. Just make sure you test fit it as you grind them out.

 

It wouldn't hurt to use a spare intake mani to bore it out. Makes things a bit easier.

I just shoved mine in with the OEM Seals.

Tighter than a virgin but it worked.

 

I lubed mine up with rubber grease and bolted her down

 

I used a dremel, worked great, the size of the sander disk is perfect size. what 450cc injectors do you have. If there are the black tops you'll have to put the Honda OEM top o-rings on them, the part of the injector that goes into the fuel rail because the DSM ones won't fit.
