Hey, buddy of mine just got a Honda cylinder head given to him for free, bad thing is they didnt tell him anything about it. It has this stamped on it:



I'm thinking its a SOHC Non-Vtec D15.. can't find any info on this specific head though.

Any ideas?

 

That would be correct. Piece of ---- head it came in the std hatches with the awesome dpfi.

 

Poor kid.. he thought it was Vtec

 

w/ a 94 build date? pm9..hrmm. weird for sure.. but i'd bet on the std civic theory, just the "94" makes me wonder.

I'm 90% sure thats it.. the '94' stamp is why.. He looked at his PM6 head he has (from an 89 Si) and it has the 89 year stamped on it.
