I wanna give up!
OK, so ever since I put the turbo on my car it's been overheating. Changed the thermo, cap, tried two different radiators, water pump, and headgasket. WTF?
I put in a del sol vtec radiator to replace the full size one and it overheats faster, 10 min of driving. With the full size it would take a 20-30 min of straight driving.
Did the water pump but the old one looked fine.
I replaced the headgasket not too long ago so I would think that it's fine, and I also don't get any signs of a blown headgasket.
I'm ready to yank this ------ zc out and throw the a6 back in there, someone please help me.

You might just have to pull the head back off, take it to a machine shop and let them perform a pressure test on the bitch.. I always cringe when I do that and what if the head is bad.. I just wasted $35 (hasn't happened yet). Your local machine shops shouldn't charge more then $50 to perform that.
did you use arp head bolts?
the head tends to raise on these motors and could have blown the gasket again
just an idea...youll have to take the head off anyways
the arps are like 80 bucks...worth having if youre gonna boost it
any comments?

I think I'll do a compression test tommorrow, I've kinda been dreading it. I was thinking the same thing, either cracked or severly warped head. This is really getting annoying. The thing about the head is that I don't loose any coolant and the coolant doesn't overflow. I don't get any white smoke either. But I guess I'll do the CT and get back to you guys.
If you have a cat installed then you won't notice burning coolant.. and just cause you aren't leaking any doesn't mean it's not bad... many many variables and the only sure fire way is to take that bitch apart.
Sorry for the shitty luck dude
