ok i'm a newbie to this turbo thing and i have a dork @ss question What parts are needed in making a homemade turbo? I know i need the turbo charger, exhaust manifold, downpipe, what other parts are needed? All i have is $1000 bucks to spend on parts and about $500 for labor. have any of you guys made a ghetto turbo for a 92 or 93 gsr before?? Thanks for any useful info in advance.

 

where do you live? i can custom build anything you need. for under 1500 too.

Don't forget your fuel management or you will need a lil more than 1500

 

My setup will cost me less than $1000, with brand name parts, you can make one for a lot less or more, just depends where you shop and what you decide to use. Definately can do it for less than $1000 Ghetto Style of course
