Default Spark plugs

Well the spark plugs havent been changed in the car in a long time and im having one start to break down.. so i figured i would check and see if anyone upgrades their spark plugs for boost. i havent boosted the motor yet, just doing upgrades in anticipation.

are you using stock/oem copy plugs or upgraded plugs? if so, which ones? thanks.. its for a D series, btw

Stock and Stock, some people like to get 1 step cooler plugs, personally I have always used stock NGK plugs. Wires, can be pretty much anything other than the el-cheapo's from the auto parts stores, ones like autolite/napa golds all suck *** and fall apart. Stock ones work great.

The only suggestion I can make is to run the stock plugs and run a little smaller gap on them.

It's just a lesser chance of detonation. I personally just never went with cooler plugs. Also I gap my plugs at .040 (stock gap is .044)

However I do have MSD.

and Jeff has mad fuel managment kicking

I've never had bad luck out of the bosch super spark plugs, I use them in many different applications as a good universal filler.

Stay away from autolite:
A) They are made by ford
B) They are recycled spark plugs

Typically the way it works is:

European Cars - Bosch Super
Asian Cars - NGK
Domestics (chevy) - ACDelco

This chick I met over the weekend got the bosch super quad bullshit plugs installed and was trying to tell me that it made her car have +2 HP... I had to set her straight then explained at most you will only get better fuel efficency. Josh was there with me and backed me up
