This is getting VERY old. I'm ready to just throw my entire ------- computer in the trash and never think about this ---- ever again.

Ok, I order a Willem burner after I couldn't get the BURN1 to work for me.

I get it today and insert the floppy into my computer. I read the lame *** instructions and follow everything as close as I can. I download the drivers and ---- and proceed with the instructions.

My problem is when I try to extract the files it says I cannot extract them because "The media is write protected". WTF? I payed for this ---- and I can't use it?


I try and try and try to open this ---- in any possible folder I can, and everytime I think it might actually be working, this ------- thing pops up and says there was an error and it needs to shut down.


Oh my god, I am not a patient person and this is pissing me off far beyond the point of being reasonable.


What am I doing wrong?

you should have called craig about the BURN1, there was problems with the firmware and it needed updated. I did that to mine, and it works each and everytime.

But im not help too you at all lol

 

Yeah, I talked to Craig, but he couldn't tell me for sure if it would fix my problems and I didn't want to be shipping that damn burner back and forth 15 times just to find out it still didn't work.

This really pisses me off. Why do computers hate me? I just want to burn some ------- chips. Is that so wrong?

I found a link to the software, I downloaded it, but now I can't do a ------- thing with it. It says "Privileged instruction" anytime I try to do something and I can't even close the ---- without hitting "ctrl Alt Del"

Williem and my rom's make long sweet passionate binary love to one another. it's beautiful. and i have a p4 2.5ghz puter running xp sp1 and have had no issues; this is an awesome burner; i had an epromer-5 but it was a hunk of ---- and cost 2x more

it really isn't that hard to set the thing up;
find williem's site; download the software; extract and use....

a retarded monkey could figure it out.... and a retarded monkey would know to throw that floppy disk out the nearest window since they are as reliable as a stock D16 drinking toluene pushint 25psi of boost

I assume that the software they send with the unit should work fine with it. Am I wrong for assuming this? If I am, then I am not the only retarded one because they shouldn't be sending some bullshit floppy disk that doesn't work properly.

Anyways, after opening the ---- up about 348 times and banging on my computer violently, it started working. It's a ------- miracle. I successfully burned 2 chips with no problems. I have no idea what happened, but it works and I'm not going to touch it until I'm done with it forever.

I can't wait to try to get this to work on my laptop.

stability is amazing; with the epromer-5 bullshit it would crash if i blinked wrong

 

Hmmmm...I have no clue what could have been wrong. I don't know why it would just start working like that. I know it was nothing I did. Maybe it just needed to settle in? ---- I don't know...

I downloaded the software from here:

which didn't work at first for whatever reason.

It seems to work bitchin' now.
