Default BACK FROM THE TRACK*** RESULTS POSTED***

hey im heading up to moroso tommorow night and its my 1rst time on the strip.



i know imm gonna have some traction problems seeing that im gonna be on bald *** camber worn cheap *** tires.

any 1 have any lil tricks that can get me some hook up off the line and down the 1/4 mile


some 1 told me to raise the back en up high and that will help, im not sure if its true.

what do u guys think?

If you haven't doen so already, punch out some holes in the rear bumper, creating rear diffusers for reducing wind drag that collects under the rear bumper...

just take the bumper off...

and no, dont raise the back end.

most of how your time is gonna turn out starts in the fist 60 feet of the race....
if you ---- up the first 60feet you are screwed.(to include the light)

well, im back its 16 am and im pissed,


alot of people crashed so I only got to run 2wice,

this was my first time on the strip i was nervous as ----, the funny thing is that both cars i lined up with, i beat them on the way home from the track, i guess i was just nevous.

btw, its a 95 dx, d15b motor 8 psi and cheap *** tires, i couldnt hook up for anything.

ill try again next time. thanks for the tips

your reaction really improved the second run.
d15b7? what psi on the tires and what did you launch at?
and... what was the mph for the 1/4?

no its a d15b vetc (its j spec)

tires: 24 psi 1rst run, 19 psi 2nd run,

added the mph

luanched 4.5k 1rst , nasty spin

launched 3k 2nd time, hook right up, but lost it 2nd and thrid

How the hell did you manage a 3 second 60ft?
And reaction time has nothing to do with ET.

I think it was pure nervous...

next time just think of things being a street race. dont worry about anything. just worry about wippin the ---- out of the guy next to you. and dont drink so much red bull....your adreniline will be plenty to keep you going.

from what I see on the forum, a JDM D15B at 8psi, low 14's high 13's is what you are capable of running.

sup, i just came home, today i ran into Paperchaser013, turns out that we knew each other before, he sold me my FMU off thepartstrader.com that i ended up throwing away for the hack.

i like his civic, looks clean.....
