i got the intercooler off of a volvo 740 turbo at a junkyard that's in perfect shape. it's 17" x 21" with thick plastic endtanks. will this work with my turbo kit for my civic i'm putting together? im planning on using a T25.

 

I would have gone with something just a little bit smaller, but the FMIC that you gots ain't a bad choice.

 

the fmic only cost me $50, and it's in perfect shape - no bent fins. its also painted black, which is great for that sleeper look.

 

not to mention it looks like a radiator

 

how the hell will you fit that to a civic? I see those all the time, I just pass them like I dont see them

i bought one of those. i cut that ---- in half. i know your thinking wtf? its about 8 inches tall now. the bottom half i'm gonna make my own end tanks for it.

 

i just traded one of these intercoolers from daubleaaron. HE gave it to me in mint condition and it is awesome.

I also cut the bitch in half. except I cut the bottom and i only cut it like 7" so that it fills up my bumper. The old bandsaw ate that bitch right up. Im in the process of cleaning it and then im going to prolly either make my own custom end tanks (welded alum.) or i'll prolly just seal that top piece off with some jb weld and then make my own endtanks since i want them to come off of the side.

btw , is your's black? I like how this one is just all black, i'll be painting my chargepipes and couplers and all this other ---- black and prolly wrapping it with something so that it si my sleeper. im sure it flows awesome. Can prolly sell the other half for $50 to someone.
