i just finish my ls swap in my crx. the problem is when i start my car the idle is at 3,000. this happens if i dont start it for a couples of hours but when it gets warm it drops to about 1000-1200. how do i fix this? does my charcol canistor(sp) need to be hooked up? :P

No it doesnt need to be hooked up...

check for vacuum leaks, and make sure you didnt adjust your throttle linkage to tight

 

my idle screw is all the way in...and i think i linkage is good..this happens only when the engine is cold..but when its warm in idles at1400-1500..is that still do high? really need to fix this cause i leave my house at 6am and its loud

 

Mine usually starts at 3000 then drops down to 700-1000... is that messed up too? my idle, once it warms up, looks like a decent number...

600-800 fully warm.

actually i just checked.. mine starts at aroud 2100 then drops.. is that still normal? haha

 

2100 sounds ok but that guy with the 3000 rpms is off....it might be the ecu programmd funny or some ----...i dont know...
